Which Type of Floss Should You Pick?

You probably know that there are a number of things you can do to protect your teeth. Similarly, you know that brushing and flossing are vital to your oral health. However, do you know how to determine the type of floss that’s best for your teeth?

There are a variety of different flosses you could consider using. For example, if you struggle to get floss between your teeth, you should contemplate waxed floss. If you have larger gaps in your pearly whites, you may need dental tape or super floss. Individuals who have braces could clean their teeth most effectively with spongy floss.

Of course, once you have the right type of floss for your teeth, you should remember to floss at least once every day. We recommend using about a foot and a half of floss every time to make sure you get all of your teeth with clean pieces of floss. You should also curve your floss into a c-shape and glide it up and down each side of your tooth. Finally, if you floss first, please remember to brush well afterwards. If you brush your teeth first, please rinse your mouth after you floss.
